The Solution

We deployed a full agentic commerce stack on top of their Shopify Plus instance — protocol integration, AI discoverability optimization, and MCP tool definitions:

  1. AI-Specific Data Enrichment: We used our “Agentic Readiness” audit to identify missing data points. We then automated the enrichment of 4,000 SKUs with agent-critical details (e.g., “pet-friendly rating”, “robot vacuum clearance height”).
  2. Contextual Recommendations: We set up a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allowed design agents to query the catalog with semantic constraints (“Find a beige sectional under $3k that fits a 12ft wall and ships by Tuesday”).
  3. Visualization Hooks: We exposed 3D asset links in the UCP manifest, allowing spatial computing agents to project items into user floor plans efficiently.
